Olivia MacKinnon started her ballet journey in Mobile, AL.
She showed a natural talent for dance from a young age. Her early training helped her build a strong foundation, which later took her to national and international stages.
In the summers of 2008 and 2009, Olivia attended the summer sessions at the School of American Ballet (SAB).
Her skills earned her a full-time spot at SAB in the fall of 2010. This time was important for her to improve her technique and artistry with some of the best instructors in the world.
Olivia's hard work paid off when she became an apprentice with the NYCB in November 2012.
By October 2013, she joined the company as a member of the corps de ballet.
Her talent and dedication helped her rise to the rank of soloist in April 2023.
