The Georgia Bulldogs have been hot per the usual on the recruiting trail, and several of Kirby Smart's top targets were in attendance for Cam Newton's recent 7-on-7 camp.

Those names included cornerback Dorian Barney, safety Jamar Owens, cornerback Shamar Arnoux, wide receiver Deion Thomas and quarterback Derrick Baker, among a number of other notables.

Barney (Peachtree Ridge) is a top-50 prospect for the Class of 2026, and a hard commitment to Alabama as the No. 55 overall prospect in the nation and the No. 7 overall player in the state of Georgia. Arnoux (Carrolton) was originally committed to Tennessee, but has since re-opened his options. The three-star cornerback holds offers from a number of prestigious programs, including Auburn and Georgia.

Thomas (Westlake) is a four-star prospect who has been offered by Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, UCF and more. According to the 247Sports Composite, the wideout is the No. 46 wide receiver in the Class of 2026 and is the No. 34 overall prospect in the state of Georgia.

Baker of St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) is a prospect to watch in the Class of 2027, but has not yet been rated in the 247Sports Composite. Baker finished out the 2023 season with

It will be interesting to watch just how many of these prospects the Bulldogs manage to land over the course of the next two years as one of the nation's top recruiting machines.
