Buffalo Bills football is almost, kinda, basically back, and there's plenty to watch for. For their first preseason tilt against the Chicago Bears , Sean McDermott said that the starters will play for around a quarter . That's big news, as there are plenty of position groups worth monitoring.

Bills fans will want to see how the defense looks, namely who ends up starting at safety , while also paying attention to the exchange between new center Connor McGovern and Josh Allen . Also, and obviously, rookie training camp standout Keon Coleman will draw plenty of eyes and his rapport with Allen continues to grow.

Fortunately for Bills fans, there will be plenty of ways to watch their first preseason game of the year.

Buffalo vs Chicago will kick off from Highmark Stadium at 1 p.m. ET, and according to 506sports , there will be multiple broadcast options.

In Western New York, you'll have Steve Tasker and Andrew Catalon will be on the call. You can watch the game on:

    • WIVB (CBS/4 - Buffalo)
    • WROC (CBS/8 - Rochester)
    • WSYR (ABC/9 - Syracuse)
    • WPNY (My/11 - Utica)
    • WETM (18.2 - Elmira)
    • WTEN (ABC/10 - Albany)
    • WWTI (ABC/50 - Watertown NY)
    • WIVT (ABC/34 - Binghamton NY)

Most notably, this game will also be live on NFL Network. For out of network fans, you can also watch the game on NFL+.

Bills vs Bears will feature Josh Allen vs. Caleb Williams

This game, for a preseason game, has about as much intrigue as NFL fans could hope for. This year's No. 1 overall pick, Caleb Williams, will get his first taste of the NFL, surrounded by newly-paid wide receiver D.J. Moore, fellow rookie Rome Odunze, and veteran Keenan Allen.

No rookie quarterback, ever, has had the talent and supporting cast that Williams does. He is primed to take the field with every opportunity to live up to his Mahomesian potential.

Williams is truly a special, generational prospect. I don't say that lightly. I hate throwing around cliches, but Williams deserves the hype. His ability to operate from a clean pocket, as well as pull a rabbit out of his hat on a broken play, makes him as exciting a quarterback prospect as you'll see. The eyes of the NFL world will be tuned to this preseason game to see how Williams reacts to seeing NFL defenses, and it could be a game that is shown around the league for years to come if Williams hits his ceiling.

    Football is back, people.
