The Georgia Bulldogs may have lost a handful of top talent to the 2024 NFL Draft, but they have plenty of "next man up" weapons remaining on their roster. Plus, quarterback Carson Beck also returns as an early Heisman trophy candidate .
We're predicting Georgia's offense's two-deep depth chart as training camp continues. Who will start, and which key depth pieces will make an impact this college football season?
Georgia's Quarterback & Weapons
QB
Carson Beck
Gunner Stockton
Beck is back for a season finale after finishing 2023 ranked in the top 5 nationally in both passing yards (3,941) and completion percentage (72.4%). With Beck en route to the NFL next year, there's a chance Stockton could see more action as Georgia continues to groom him to potentially take over the starting QB job.
RB
Trevor Etienne
Roderick Robinson
Etienne, junior transfer from Florida who had 1,472 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns for the Gators in 2023, will carry a majority of the backfield workload with Robinson right behind him.
WR X
Dillon Bell
Colbie Young
For now, Bell is the projected starting X receiver , but if Young can show off his dual-threat capabilities, then Bell could find himself sliding down the depth chart or thrown in at the Z receiver spot.
WR Z
Arian Smith
London Humphreys
If there's one thing that Smith brings to the Bulldogs' wide receiver room, it's speed. We could really see a big jump in his game this season, especially now that he's back to full health. But he will need to limit dropped balls.
WR $
Dominic Lovett
Anthony Evans
Lovett is the guy for Georgia's slot receiver position but has the ability to line up anywhere. As for Evans, he brings some experience depth to the room and is expected to see more action in Year 2.
TE
Oscar Delp
Benjamin Yurosek
Yes, the Dawgs offensie will miss Brock Bowers, but they won't be lot without him as Delp has the potential to fill his shoes very well -- at last least Kirby smart seems to believe so.
Georgia's Offensive Line
Georgia's offensive line will take some getting used to after loosing right tackle Amarius Mims and center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger to the NFL Draft. But the Bulldogs remain in good shape with Dylan Fairchild, Tate Ratledge, Earnest Greene and Xavier Truss still in the lineup. Jared Wilson faces a tall task replacing Van Pran's elite production at center, though he's looked the part so far.
LT
Earnest Greene
Jamal Meriweather
LG
Dylan Fairchild
Micah Morris
Center
Jared Wilson
Drew Bobo
RG
Tate Ratledge
Daniel Calhoun
RT
Xavier Truss
Monroe Freeling
