The Los Angeles Chargers kick off their preseason against the Seattle Seahawks. There's plenty to watch for to begin their exhibition play on the field, so let's make sure you can tune in from wherever you may be.

The game will be broadcast on CBS. That being said, only in-market fans will be able to watch the preseason opener on their CBS affiliate. Fans located outside of the Los Angeles or Seattle area will have the find another source to watch the game.

Streaming platforms are providing more opportunities to watch this game.

Out-of-market fans can tune in via NFL+ . The game will also be available on Paramount+, but you'll need a subscription there as well.

    • Location: SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, California)

Justin Herbert will not play in the preseason opener. Don't be surprised if Jim Harbaugh holds him out of the entire preseason as he works back from a foot injury. They will not rush him, nor should they.

This first game will open the return of Jim Harbaugh to the NFL. Don't be surprised to see some defenders starters play a drive or two just to get their feet wet.

Past that, I would be surprised if we see Chargers starters after the first quarter. The roster does lack depth, and LA needs to play it smart when it comes to potential injuries in an exhibition games.
