The New Orleans Saints have an intriguing quarterback competition ramping up. Rookie Spencer Rattler has some extremely impressive physical traits, including notable mobility and a cannon of an arm. There's no doubt that he has prototypical physical skills for the NFL.

When will he get a shot for the Saints in the regular season? That is unknown. For now, Rattler is battling Jake Haener for the backup role in new Orleans. Both players made splash plays on Saturday night.

The Saints defeated the Arizona Cardinals on a game-winning field goal by rookie Charlie Smyth to kick off their preseason.
