Minnesota Vikings 53-man roster projection 2.0: UDFAs storm the latest projections post-Raiders preseason game

The Minnesota Vikings roster is becoming more clear after they beat the Las Vegas Raiders 24-23 on Saturday afternoon. We saw multiple Vikings take a positive step toward making the team with others having a poor performance doing the exact opposite.
After the Vikings got the win, we took a look at the latest 53-man roster projection . Who will make the Vikings' roster if they had to make the decision today?
Quarterback
Sam Darnold
J.J. McCarthy
Nick Mullens
Jaren Hall has been the third quarterback on my roster projections for a while now, but his performance against the Raiders was brutal. Was it due to a lack of reps in practice or is he just not worthy of being the backup quarterback? THe next two weeks will tell us more but it's not looking good.
Running back
Aaron Jones
Ty Chandler
Kene Nwangwu
C.J. Ham
Nwangwu earns the spot over Myles Gaskin after his performance. He did show some struggles in pass-blocking but had a fantastic rep and broke a 48 yard run off tackle for a touchdown. Don't be surprised if the Vikings look to add depth at this position because it's been less than inspiring.
Wide receiver
Justin Jefferson
Jordan Addison
Jalen Nailor
Brandon Powell
Trent Sherfield
Trishton Jackson
This one hasn't changed, especially after Jackson's massive day for the Vikings on Saturday when he had 100 yards receiving and a touchdown. Keep an eye on Jeshaun Jones as he played a decent amount of snaps.
Tight end
T.J. Hockenson (PUP/IR)
Josh Oliver
Johnny Mundt
Nick Muse
You can't make the club from the tub. Robert Tonyan being out with back spasms has given Muse time to separate from the pack. He caught a crucial third down against the Raiders and has developed a connection with the rookie quarterback.
Offensive tackle
Christian Darrisaw
Brian O'Neill
David Quessenberry
Walter Rouse
This won't be too controversial, especially after Rouse had a really good game during his debut.
Interior offensive line
Garrett Bradbury
Blake Brandel
Ed Ingram
Dan Feeney
Michael Jurgens
Not having Dalton Risner on the 53-man roster feels like a surprise but it shouldn't be. Risner has been injured and you can't make the club from the tub. Jurgens proved that he can be a solid player at both guard and center.
The Vikings need to find a way to add draft picks since they only have three this year with a potential fourth coming via compensatory selection. Pat Jones II feels like a trade candidate with the Vikings having some intriguing young depth at edge rusher.
Richter played out of his mind on Saturday and was one of the biggest standouts against the Raiders. He was in the backfield consistently and gathered a sack, quarterback hit and two tackles for loss. Carter hasn't played well enough to keep his roster spot.
Defensive line
Harrison Phillips
Jerry Tillery
Jonathan Bullard
Jaquelin Roy
Levi Drake Rodriguez
Another easy position group to parse out. Keep an eye on Jalen Redmond. He was on fire on Saturday doing the dirty work to allow other players to make plays. With the rest of the group struggling, seeing Redmond take a step forward.
Inside linebacker
Blake Cashman
Ivan Pace Jr.
Brian Asamoah
Kamu Grugier-Hill
This group is chalk. Jabril Cox was someone worth keeping an eye on but he didn't play a single defensive snap on Saturday.
Cornerback
Byron Murphy Jr.
Shaquill Griffin
Akayleb Evans
Fabian Moreau
Dwight McGlothern
This is an interesting one. The Vikings traded Andrew Booth Jr. to the Dallas Cowboys for Nahshon Wright . Now, the idea of Wright is interesting but he's not likely to make the squad. McGlothern has impressed many during training camp and he makes the squad. Keep tabs on the Vikings signing Stephon Gilmore, as he visited on Monday .
Safety
Harrison Smith
Camryn Bynum
Josh Metellus
Theo Jackson
Jay Ward
NaJee Thompson is the player left off the list. With the number of options on special teams and Thompson still being on the PUP list, it is a little easier to cut him.
Specialists
K Will Reichard
P Ryan Wright
LS Andrew DePaola
The only spot here up for grabs is at punter. Seth Vernon had a bad day on Saturday and Wright is still the main holder. That makes a difference here.
