IMPD: Person shot, killed on Indy’s southeast side
INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis metro police are on the scene of a deadly shooting that left one person dead on the city’s southeast side Thursday night. Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched around 5:28 p.m. to Southeastern Avenue and South Franklin Road in response to a shots fired call. While responding to the initial call, officers received another call indicating a person had been shot in the parking lot of a CVS Pharmacy in the area.
