Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa doesn't think he's seen rookie running back Jaylen Wright's full personality just yet, but he's seen enough to know that the former Tennessee Vols standout carries the ball with some "swag".

"He's acclimated pretty quick," said Tagovailoa when asked about Wright on Tuesday. "I think that was one of the first times I can really say that I've seen his personality with running the ball. Runs the ball and then throws one of those (Tua points finger like he's signaling a first down). He's got some swag to him. I think he's still trying to feel out the guys. He's still trying to feel out the offense. I think once he feels comfortable and gets comfortable, I think we'll all start to see his personality flourish."

Wright, a fourth round pick by the Dolphins in the 2024 NFL Draft, had a solid preseason debut last week, carrying the ball 10 times for 55 yards and a touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons.

The former Vol has a chance to make a big impact for the Dolphins. He's currently behind Raheem Mostert and De'Von Achane on the depth chart. Mostert, however, is 32 years old and he can be released after the 2024 season with just a $1 million dead cap hit. If Wright continues to impress during camp, he should set himself up nicely to be a key player for the Dolphins in the coming years.
