Cardinals' Marvin Harrison Jr. isn't running from his Hall of Fame potential

Marvin Harrison Jr. knows his ceiling is the NFL Hall of Fame.

The rookie wide receiver, taken in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft, has recently drawn comparisons to Larry Fitzgerald. That is on top of being the son of Indianapolis Colts legend Marvin Harrison. Talk about lofty expectations. But the Ohio State product isn't fazed.

"You've got to think that I've been compared to a Hall of Famer my whole life," the rookie pass-catcher recently said on SiriusXM Radio . "Going into this situation is not much different at this point. I'm just going to embrace it. There's never going to be another Larry. Larry was great. I'm just trying to be the next me."

Harrison oozes potential. There is a reason he earned the same moniker: Massaratie Marve.

While at Ohio State, Harrison caught 14 touchdowns and recorded at least 1,200 yards receiving in each of his final two years.

"I just feel like I'm supposed to be here, this is what I'm supposed to do," Harrison said. "I'm living out my dream, so I'm never trying to put too much pressure on myself. Obviously, I'm super hard on myself on the field, I just want to be the best that I can be, but I just feel like I'm supposed to be here, so that's my mindset the whole time."

Harrison has the mindset to win because he isn't fazed by the inevitable comparisons.
