Bengals will kick off 2024 season with a uniform combination they've never worn before

The Cincinnati Bengals are confirmed to be wearing their new orange pants for at least two games this upcoming season.

On top of Week 16's " Stripe The Jungle " game against the Cleveland Browns, the Bengals will wear the orange pants with their orange jersey in Week 1 against the New England Patriots.

An all-orange get up has been speculated since the sudden reveal of the new orange pants , and the Bengals aren't wasting any time giving the fans that look. The club is even branding the entire shebang as "Open In Orange" and wants fans to wear orange to the Week 1 matchup.

"Open In Orange is an exciting new tradition that celebrates the start of the Bengals regular season and energizes the community leading up to the first home game," the team said in a statement . "Fans are encouraged to wear orange to create an Orange Out at Paycor Stadium."

So, if you're headed to the game on September 8, wear orange. A lot of orange.

NFL rules permit clubs to wear alternative uniforms no more than three times a season. Cincinnati is already wearing its White Bengals uniform in Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles, and with the orange-out happening in Week 1, that leaves one more game to wear a combination designated as an alternate. The black-and-orange combo announced for Week 16 shouldn't be included as it features both the primary orange helmet and primary black jersey.
