Marvin Harrison Jr. knows he has to live up to his star potential.

The Arizona Cardinals used a first-round draft pick to bring in Harrison Jr. He comes from a long lineage of NFL stars. His father, Marvin Harrison Sr., was a star for the Indianapolis Colts. It isn't lost on Harrison Jr. that he has the same name and the same skills his father possessed.

But Harrison Jr. isn't thinking about his dad too much. He knows that he got to the NFL doing it his way. He plans to stay in the league by doing the same.

"I made it at this point, with my own path," Harrison Jr. said, via the Cardinals website . "I just want to work hard and see where it takes me."

Though Harrison Jr. knows the necessary mentality to be an NFL great, he isn't resting on his loras. He knows to have a transcendent rookie season, he still has a lot of work to do.

"I obviously still have a lot of work to do," Harrison Jr. said. "My dream was always to do this. I always thought I'd be here."

The Cardinals will take on the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday at 7 p.m. It will be the Cardinals' second preseason game. It is currently unclear if the Cardinals will play Harrison Jr. and other starters.

"I just feel like I'm supposed to be here, this is what I'm supposed to do," Harrison Jr. said. "I'm living out my dream, so I'm never trying to put too much pressure on myself. Obviously, I'm super hard on myself on the field, I just want to be the best that I can be, but I just feel like I'm supposed to be here, so that's my mindset the whole time."
