Former Tennessee Vols RHP Ben Joyce had a dominant outing for the Los Angeles Angels on Friday night against the Atlanta Braves.

And Joyce was repping the Vols during the outing.

The former Tennessee standout needed just 14 pitches to get the final five outs in the Angels' 3-2 win against the Braves on Friday night in Anaheim. Joyce came into the game in the eighth inning and induced an inning-ending double play after throwing just two pitches. He gave up a single in the ninth inning to Marcell Ozuna, but he was able to quickly retire Austin Riley, Michael Harris II, and Matt Olson to secure the win.

Joyce pitched against the Braves while wearing some custom orange and white cleats with his nickname, the Volunteer fireman, etched on the side.

Joyce touched 104 MPH while earning the save against the Braves.

Joyce has a 2.54 ERA in 25 innings this season. His save on Friday night was his second of the season (his first save came against the New York Mets, the team the Braves are battling for a Wild Card spot, earlier this month).
