Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Trishton Jackson has done a lot this offseason to make the 53-man roster . After making it with the Los Angeles Rams in 2020, Jackson has yet to make the initial 53-man roster with the Vikings.

During training camp this year, Jackson looks much better than he has in the past. He is creating separation during practice. That has translated to the preseason games, including last week where he caught four passes for 100 yards and J.J. McCarthy's first touchdown.

That has continued going into the second preseason game. Jackson caught a touchdown from quarterback Nick Mullens with some toe-drag swag.

A really nice fade-stop route from Jackson and Mullens put the ball on the money. These are the kinds of plays that you want to see from your depth players. Jackson has been making plays like this throughout training camp.

At the end of the first quarter, the Vikings held a 10-7 lead and Jackson had two catches for 20 yards and a touchdown along with six rushing yards.
