A fan favorite of fans of the New Orleans Saints has taken another major step in his football career. He's no longer playing football, but he continues to impact young athletes in the best way possible.

Former Saints quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is the new head coach for the Miami Northwestern Senior High School's Bulls. Working at his alma mater, he got off to a great start in his first year as their leader recently.

Bridgewater's offense is absolutely electric. You can tell that they have a former NFL QB as their coach. The Bulls scored 42 first-half points and took the foot off the gas in the second half in a 42-7 victory, overall.

The Bulls' offense started the game strong with a 14-0 first-quarter lead. Bridgewater's offense was unstoppable, adding 28 points in the second quarter to enter halftime with a 42-7 advantage. During his tenure with the Saints, Bridgewater found a lot of success from a winning standpoint.

He had a record of 5-1 as starting quarterback for the black and gold. He was Drew Brees' backup during his time with the franchise, but got those starts due to injuries to Brees.

Many fans remember him for his attitude and leadership, though. He was the type of person who "did not have a bad day" because he always remained positive and looked ahead for what was still to come. Fans and teammates flocked to his support consistently during his time in the NFL.

It is great to see Bridgewater thriving in his next venture after he retired earlier this year.
