The Kansas City Chiefs, as we have said one million times by now, are trying to do the impossible. No, literally, a three-peat has never been done , so as of right now, it's the impossible. The Chiefs have everyone absolutely gunning for them -- they will get every team's best shot, every team's best game. So, this season won't be easy.

Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs' star quarterback, has publicly expressed confidence in achieving this historic feat. His statements on various platforms, including podcasts, reflect not just optimism but a near guarantee of another Super Bowl victory in New Orleans, where Super Bowl LIX is set to be held.

And, they know that it won't be easy, because they went through that last year, as they accomplished back-to-back Super Bowl wins.

For teams out there that feel like they have a legitimate shot at winning the Super Bowl, the Chiefs have a message for you.

"Boys got all these Super Bowl aspirations but you still have to play us," defensive lineman Charles Omenihu said.

Let's just be real for a second -- the NFL still has to go through the Chiefs, and the AFC still has to go through Kansas City, and that won't change until proven otherwise. And, bad news for everyone else -- the Chiefs may very well be even better this year than the last two years.

The Chiefs have made strategic moves in the draft and free agency, focusing on speed and defensive depth. The acquisition of Xavier Worthy, known for his speed, and Hollywood Brown, aims to address some of the offensive shortcomings from the previous season, where they were not near the top of the offensive rankings like they are so used to.

Kansas City is well-positioned with a quarterback in Mahomes who's at the peak of his powers, a coach in Andy Reid with a proven track record, and a roster that's been tweaked for another run at glory. Let's also not forget about a defense that was one of the league's best last season , and could be even better this year with Steve Spagnuolo behind the wheel.
