The Philadelphia Eagles' 2024 rookie class put on quite a show this NFL preseason, which makes for an exciting fall.

The transition from the college to NFL level is far from easy but a handful of Eagles rooks made it seem like a piece of cake. But while there may only be one rookie that gets the starting nod out right of the gate, some others should still see in-game action at some point this season.

Here are three Eagles rookies who proved that they are more than ready for the next level.

    RB Will Shipley

Will Shipley joined the rest of the starters who did not dress in the Eagles' preseason finale against the Minnesota Vikings.

That means the Eagles have seen all that they needed to and he is on tap to be their No. 3 running back behind Saquon Barkley and Kenneth Gainwell.

Shipley was the talk of the town for his outstanding preseason performance that he finished with 12 carries for 38 yards and showcased his dual-threat abilities, reeling in five catches for 38 yards and one score.

    CB Quinyon Mitchell

Quinyon Mitchell was another rookie who did not play against Minnesota for good reason.

The Eagles' No. 22 pick in the draft received an overall Pro Football Focus grade of 78.2 through the first two preseason games, which ranked him sixth amongst all first-round rookies.

Mitchell lined up in the slot and on the outside for the Birds and played both positions very well. He's expected to start at nickel until Cooper DeJean is back to full health, then the Eagles plan to move him outside full-time.

    LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr.

Jeremiah Trotter Jr. is also making the jump to the NFL look like a breeze.

The like "father, like son" saying is looking a lot more real after he totaled eight tackles and a sack in the preseason.

Trotter Jr. won't start right away but he should still see significant playing time behing Zach Baun and Devin White.
