A to Z Sports has officially launched its college football coverage, which means they're going to be bringing fans some exciting content across several big-named college teams, including the No. 1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs .

Yours truly will be following the Dawgs this season alongside A to Z Sports' College Football Managing Editor Travis May.

Included in the coverage is my dog, "Mac", and his weekly column.

It sounds silly, but I promise, Mac knows ball.

Mac's CFB Week 1 Pick: Georgia Takes Down the Clemson Tigers in Aflac Kickoff Game

This week kicks off Week 1 for the Bulldogs who take on the Clemson Tigers in the Aflac Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday at noon ET.

No. 1 Georgia is the favorite by almost two touchdowns (-13.5) to beat the No. 14 Tigers with the over/under set at 48.5.

According to Mac, Georgia is going to start the season undefeated. And that's what I think too.

Despite losing many of their stars to the 2024 NFL Draft, the Bulldogs return several key players from last year's squad, including Heisman-caliber quarterback Carson Beck.

And for those key players that Georgia did lose, you already know that Kirby Smart and his coaching staff were grooming the young guys like Dillon Bell, Oscar Delp, and Dominic Lovett for this exact moment.

They also brought in Florida transfer running back Trevor Etienne, whose status remains up in the air for this matchup . But even if he doesn't play, the Dawgs' running back depth runs deep with talent.

The same can be said for Georgia's defense with Malaki Starks returning in the secondary and Mykel Williams, Nazir Stackhouse and Smael Mondon Jr. taking charge up front.

As for Clemson, their quarterback situation with Cade Klubnik doesn't quite match Beck's. Unless Klubnik's arm has massively improved this summer, then don't expect some big downfield plays from him. Possibly their biggest threat on offense is running back Phil Mafah, but don't expect the Tigers to get very far moving the chains that way against Georgia's run defense.

If the Bulldogs can apply pressure to Klubnik and stuff the run while Beck does what he does best and takes care of things offensively, then they shouldn't have any problem beating Dabo Swinney and the Tigers by more than two touchdowns.

It also helps that Mercedes-Benz Stadium is in "God's Country" and will be filled with red and black.
