As the Las Vegas Raiders gear up for the 2024 season, the anticipation of a potentially successful season under head coach Antonio Pierce is in the air.

With a quarterback battle resolved in favor of the experienced Gardner Minshew over Aidan O'Connell, the Raiders are not just looking to rebound from past inconsistencies but are looking to be a playoff team, and potentially win their first postseason game in over 20 years.

Adding offensive firepower like tight end Brock Bowers and defensive stalwart Christian Wilkins signals a team poised for a potential leap in performance, setting the stage for a pivotal year in franchise history as they navigate the competitive AFC West.

But before that, they must get through the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1, as the Raiders can get their AFC West division record off to a great start early on in the year. We have gone over how you can watch that game already, as well.

Winning this game would be huge, and start the Raiders off on the right foot before the rigorous part of their schedule gets underway. Luckily for them, they are set to get some great news that will be extremely helpful for them to get their season started on the right foot.

Let's not get it twisted -- just because the Chargers let go of some of their weapons, doesn't mean they are going to be a team the Raiders will walk all over. The silver and black will need help from some of their best players and their rookies in this one.

Luckily for them, they should be getting two rookies back just in time. During the preseason and even a bit of training camp, the Raiders went without rookie tight end Brock Bowers and rookie linebacker Tommy Eichenberg for a period of time.

Now, they will be getting them back for the game, according to both the injury report and head coach Antonio Pierce.

This is going to give them linebacker depth as well as special teams play, along with one of their best and more versatile weapons.
