Support Mujeres de Acción at brewhouse fundraiser Wednesday

Portion of funds from food purchases will benefit the organization’s existing programs

– Mujeres de Acción, a non-profit supporting SLO County Latina women’s causes, invites the public to Wild Fields Brewhouse in Atascadero for a fundraiser on Wednesday, Aug. 28. From 5 to 8 p.m., a portion of funds from food purchases will benefit the organization’s existing programs.

“We’re excited to host a fundraiser and invite the community,” said Yessenia Echevarria, founder and executive director of Mujeres de Acción. “Whether you have been a longtime supporter or are just learning about us for the first time, we’d like to welcome you.”

Founded in 2014, Mujeres de Acción focuses on women’s health, civic engagement, and cultural empowerment. The organization addresses these issues through workshops, events, and community partnerships, including the upcoming 3rd Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival in Paso Robles Downtown Park and the 11th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Gala.

Wild Fields Brewhouse is a local brewpub offering a comfortable space for beer lovers and families alike. In addition to this fundraiser, the venue also hosts trivia nights, paint/art events, and networking events.
