The discovery came as Chicago police and fire officials have been searching for a 16-year-old boy who went missing on Sunday at Rainbow Beach.

It's not yet clear if Santos is the missing swimmer searchers have been looking for. ABC7 has reached out to Chicago police to confirm if the cases are now officially related.

No further information was immediately available.
