WATCH: ‘Meandering Moose’ found in CO neighborhood

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colorado (KMID/KPEJ) – How many people does it take to move a 600-pound moose? The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado found out when they had to help relocate one of the large animals recently.

“Mr. Moose was peering in windows and taking a break in a yard,” before he was lifted into a van by a group of eight officers and animal control personnel, the Sheriff’s Office said on Friday. The video was captioned, “Meandering Moose.”

Animal control officers and deputies helped Colorado Parks and Wildlife safely transport the moose “back home.” One of the officials in the video can be heard commenting, “Oh, he’s just a baby.”
