MPD investigating pair of spa robberies

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Midland Police Department is asking for help from the community to identify a robbery suspect.

According to Crime Stoppers, the same suspect is believed to have been involved in two robberies at Sunny Spa, located at 2814 W Wall Street. During both robberies, investigators said the suspect, pictured below, assaulted the employee and stole cash from her.

The first incident occurred around 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 and the second happened around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 432-694-TIPS. You may also submit your anonymous tip online or through the P3 TIPS mobile app. If your tip leads to an arrest, it could be worth a $1,000 cash reward.
