MCSO arrests three suspects following trespassing operation

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – Three suspects were arrested Thursday as a result of an operation involving the Midland County Sheriff’s Office to locate trespassers.

MCSO said that on August 1, deputies conducted an operation involving multiple agencies at 1007 South Midkiff, with the mission of locating and arresting any trespassers found on the property.

Information received by the Sheriff’s Office showed a probability of stolen property being found. Due to the physical size of the property, MCSO and the Midland Police Department SWAT teams were used to clear the property of any trespassers.

Three subjects, identified as Richard James Catlin Jr., Dennis Denzer, and Javier Mendoza-Miramontes, were located and arrested inside the property and transported to the Midland County Central Detention Center. Miramontes also had a warrant for the parole violation he was booked on. This remains an ongoing investigation.
