DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Dozens of vehicles were broken into overnight from Wednesday to Thursday in Derry Township and police are asking for the public’s help.

Township police said the break-ins happened in the areas of Southpoint, Southpoint Commons, and the Deer Run neighborhoods off of Middletown Road sometime throughout the night.

It is believed over 25 vehicles, that were unlocked, were entered into and there are multiple suspects, police say. Although, police did not list if anything was stolen out of the vehicles.

The community is urged to check any home video surveillance they have to see if they recorded the suspects.

“And as a reminder, we urge our community members to lock their vehicles when leaving them unattended and to remove any valuables so they are not visible from outside the vehicle,” the police department wrote in a statement.
