    ROAD CLOSURE: Tanker spills 6K gallons of fuel in Spanish Fork Canyon

    Update, 5:56 p.m.:

    UTAH COUNTY, Utah ( ABC4 ) — Utah Highway Patrol has confirmed this incident to be a crash between two semi-trucks.

    The semi spilled around 6000 gallons of fuel, UHP said.

    One person has been hospitalized as a result. Their condition is unknown at this time.

    UTAH COUNTY, Utah ( ABC4 ) — Both directions of US-6 are closed in Spanish Fork Canyon, according to Utah Highway Patrol.

    A semi-truck tanker rolled on US-6 at milepost 186, near Billies Mountain, according to Cpl. Haley Scheer, UHP.

    The tanker reportedly blocked the westbound lanes and began leaking fuel.

    Three struck by lightning while fishing on Bear River, one dead

    Minor injuries have been reported.

    Estimated time of reopening is 11:40 p.m.
