SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) – Happy Monday, Utah! What a wild weekend around the Beehive state. We saw everything from extreme fire conditions and flash flooding to a taste of fall weather!

Temperatures will remain cooler than normal over the next few days with highs mainly in the 70s and 80s for northern Utah, and 80s and 90s for the southern half. The next few days will also feature mainly sunny and dry conditions.

A weak front moves through the northern half of the state midweek, but will only bring a slight increase in winds and maybe a degree or two temperature drop.

A relatively calm weather pattern is expected throughout the rest of the workweek. Sunshine is expected to stick around through at least Friday.

High pressure returns to the region by Friday and Saturday, potentially bringing moisture back into Utah. There’s a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in southern Utah on Saturday, pushing north into central and northern Utah by Sunday. Stay tuned.
