    NYSP seeks public help with identifying an individual captured on surveillance video

    WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – The New York State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in attempting to identify an individual who was captured on surveillance camera at the Walmart Super Center on Route 11 in the town of Le Ray in Jefferson County.

    Around 12:40 p.m. on August 11, the male in the photo left the store after allegedly taking $60 cash that was dispensed from the self-checkout register from a previous customer who forgot to take it.

    Anyone that recognizes the individual in the photo is asked to contact State Police at (315) 366-6000. Reference case: NY2400526898
