    37-Year-Old Suspect Arrested For Shooting And Killing of A 21-Year-Old In Brooklyn

    Police say a suspect is arrested this morning for a deadly Brooklyn shooting.

    Usamah Sidberry, 37, is charged with murder and weapon possession.

    An incident was reported at NYCHA's Albany Houses in Crown Heights early Friday morning.

    After arriving, they found 21-year-old Dyseem Jackson with multiple head gunshot wounds.

    EMS pronounced Jackson deceased on the scene. Shooting motives are under investigation.


    Increased Shooting Cases Around Brooklyn Area

    A car driver in Bushwick shot a woman in the buttocks Thursday morning, according to the NYPD.

    Police said the 27-year-old was shot once on Bushwick Avenue near Pilling Street at 1 a.m.

    Two persons were shot near Farragut Road and East 49th Street, one of four Brooklyn shootings Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, according to the NYPD.


    Police Reports

    Police reported one male shot in the left arm and one in the chest. Both went to a hospital.

    A 21-year-old Williamsburg man was shot in the leg and body on Division Avenue near Berry Street Wednesday night, according to the NYPD.

    Police said the young man was shot around 10:30 p.m. and transferred to a hospital.

    One hour earlier, a 33-year-old Crown Heights man was shot in the torso on Kingston Avenue near Lincoln Place.

    Police have not arrested anyone in the shootings Thursday morning.
