Wake-Up Weather: It’s raining, it’s pouring

Summary: Much like an old ex, late to the party and inconsiderate of other peoples time. A squall line moving in fast, heavy and early bringing a rather noisy start to Tuesday for some. This line of storms could at times contain pockets of pocket-change sized hail, gusty winds along the leading edge with plenty of lightning and heavy rain leading to some possible flash flooding in our community. Line fully pushes through by Tuesday evening with a few light showers into early Wednesday morning. Temperatures then climb into the 90’s by the middle of the week thanks to a high pressure system that will remain in place before pushing east this weekend. With summer officially only a few days away we will see what lies ahead for summer 2024 but by the looks of it , it appears warmer than average.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with some brief clearing and light early rain showers into early-late afternoon into Wednesday. Low Temperature: 68° Winds: E 5 MPH
