Summary: Temperatures are feeling summer-like into the triple digits as we continue on a triple digit streak but that could be coming to an end heading into this weekend. If not below triple digits then flirting with the century mark. High pressure dominating over the lone star state, some good news is that we have rain chances for some on the way heading into tomorrow near the heartland. Remember to practice heat safety and find ways to keep cool and stay hydrated. Saharan dust makes its debut Sunday into Monday and portions of next week, reducing air quality and creating some nice sunsets.

Today: Sunny skies with temperatures into the triple digits giving way to a heat advisory with heat index values between 105°-108°. High Temperature: 103° Winds: S 10-15 G 25 MPH

Tonight: Skies clearing overnight, a warm night with a light breeze. Low Temperature: 79° Winds: S 15 G 25 MPH
