Wake-Up Weather: summer weather pattern brings scattered rain showers this weekend

Summary: This week has seem to have flown by and not just because I was on vacation for almost the whole week but because we have seen a typical summer-time pattern. Sunny skies with the occasional stray shower. Rinse and repeat over the next few days with rain chances this weekend along with some Saharan dust. Temperatures will continue to climb into next week with a brief cool down as a cold front drops south brining rain chances by the back half of next week.

Today: Sunny skies with a few upper level clouds, temperatures above average with light winds. High Temperature: 98° Winds: SE 5-10 MPH

Tonight: Mostly clear with seasonal temperatures and calm winds. Low Temperature: 74° Winds: SE 5-10 MPH
