Police investigate possible murder-suicide

An early morning call Wednesday to Abilene police led to the discovery of two deaths, according to a police media release.

Detectives are investigating the incident as a possible murder-suicide.

Just before 2 a.m., police responded to a home in the 5200 block of South Seventh Street to investigate a report of an injured person, according to a statement from Abilene Police Department.

When police arrived to the home they discovered a man and woman lying on the ground in the front yard suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The police identified the man as Narsiso Alamilla, 47, and the woman as Baby Costancio, 49, according to the statement. Alamilla and Costancio were in a dating relationship.

Next of kin has been notified.

The deceased are being sent to the medical examiner's office for autopsy. No other information has been released as of Wednesday morning.
