New Bedford man pronounced dead after being transported to Fall River hospital after Assonet crash
The name of the victim has been released concerning a fatal crash in Assonet. According to Lieutenant Benjamin Levesque, on Sunday at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Freetown Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call reporting a serious single-vehicle crash on Copicut Road near the intersection of Bell Rock Road in Assonet. Freetown Police and Fire were dispatched to the scene.
New Bedford Police respond to “shots fired” on Acushnet Ave near Monte’s Park
On Sunday, at approximately at 9 p.m., New Bedford Police received 911 calls for a shooting call at Acushnet Ave and Russell St. near Monte’s Park. At least three people injured in head-on crash in Falmouth
FALMOUTH – At least three people were injured in a head-on crash in Falmouth around 10:45 PM Sunday evening. The crash happened on East Falmouth Highway (Route 28) by Falmouth Fire Station #5.
