As part of the 88th Northwest Water Carnival, an American Red Cross blood drive is taking place today at Grace Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Red Cross is experiencing a critical shortage of blood donations this summer, a common issue during busy summer months. According to Red Cross spokeswoman Sue Thesenga, blood needs are constant, with someone in the U.S. requiring blood every two seconds.
No charges initially filed against a woman in West Fargo stabbing
WEST FARGO – No charges will be filed at this time in the stabbing death of 38-year-old Alexander Anderson of West Fargo who died of a stab wound to the chest early Monday. 31-year-old Robyn Lee of West Fargo was being held in connection with the stabbing but was released from custody on Thursday. The Cass County State’s Attorneys Office says after thoroughly reviewing the evidence available, charges will not be filed at this time.
