Man taken to hospital after crashing car into Jackson church
JACKSON, MI -- A man was taken to the hospital after a medical emergency caused him to crash into a Jackson church on Saturday, officials said. The Jackson fire and police departments were called around 1:30 p.m. July 20, to the intersection of S. Milwaukee Street and Alpine Drive for a report of a car that had crashed into a building, according to Assistant Fire Chief Joe Smith.

Abdul "Duke" Fakir, the last surviving original member of Motown's the Four Tops, died Monday of heart failure in Detroit. He was 88.
