Beginning on Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m. across Bunker Creek Road from the Adna Grocery Store, the Adna Car Show will begin and run through Saturday, July 20, at 10 p.m., according to an Adna Grocery Facebook post.

Along with classic and custom cars that will be on display over the two days, local food and craft vendors will be on hand for the annual car show organized by Adna Grocery and Uncle Jim’s Smokehouse.

Additionally, live concerts will be held with performances by Pat Murphy and the Straightshot Band on Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., The Big Dogs Band from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and the Backfire Band on Saturday night from 6 to 10 p.m.

On Saturday at 10:30 a.m., a cruise will be held. A silent auction and raffles will be held as well, with the auction scheduled to end on Saturday at 3 p.m. The car show awards will be announced shortly after at 3:30 p.m.

“Friday and Saturday, Market Street Pub along with Jen O’Dell will be serving at The Watering Hole, next to the music,” Adna Grocery said in a Facebook post.

This year’s Adna Car Show will also feature a car parts swap meet.

Jim and Cindy Smith, owners of Adna Grocery, last year donated $29,350 — the money raised at the car show — to the Adna Scholarship Committee.

The event is now in its fifth year. The car show in Adna raised $7,798 in 2020, $16,698 in 2021 and $17,680 in 2022.
