If you are looking for something to do today, then head over to Settlers' Park for Barro Fest from 1 PM to 10 PM CT. This festival is a celebration of Latino heritage and is free of charge.

What in the world does Barro Fest even mean? Barro in Spanish means "mud." The term barro in Latino culture is used to describe the Mexican pottery that is artisticly marvellous.

At Barro Fest, vendors will be selling Mexican pottery along with other types of art. Plus, all types of Mexican traditional food will be sold as well.

Please bring a blanket or lawn chairs so that you will be able to experience live music and traditional folkloric dancing throughout the day.

Settlers' Park is located at 24403 W. Lockport Street in downtown Plainfield.
