Residents of small Missouri town angered over hot-car death of police dog
SAVANNAH, Mo. (AP) — Residents of a small western Missouri town are saddened and angered after a police dog died in a hot car. The dog named Horus died June 20 following an overnight shift, Police Chief David Vincent said. In a Facebook posting on Wednesday, Vincent said he couldn’t discuss the circumstances of the dog’s death while the Missouri State Highway Patrol conducts an investigation.

St. Joseph Man Arraigned Following Harrison County Drug Arrest
HARRISON COUNTY, Mo - A St. Joseph man was arraigned Tuesday following a drug arrest Friday in Harrison County. According to a probable cause statement, 62-year-old Kevin L. Cox was pulled over on Interstate 35 near the 98 mile marker on Friday for an expired temporary license plate.
