Redin's work will soon be exhibited and archived at the Wittliff Collection at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Redin, the son of Harley & Nonie Redin and stepson of Wilda Redin, supports Plainview and the WBU Flying Queens. He often returns to Plainview and currently lives in Austin.
