Other students were recognized with the Outstanding Student Awards for their academic excellence.

    Faculty contributions were also acknowledged during the event. Karen Jones, the Program Chair of Mathematics, was nominated for the Glenn W. Sample Founder’s Award for Excellence in Instruction. Kristin Bassett, an adjunct faculty member in nursing, was nominated for the Gerald I. Lamkin Award for her teaching and mentorship.
