Autopsy may help identify body found in aftermath of South Carolina house fire
AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. — The Aiken County coroner and other agencies still have unanswered questions after crews recovered a body from a burning home. Coroner Darryl Ables said the fire happened around 7:15 p.m. on Friday at a home in the 500 block of John Nunn Highway near Salley. He said law enforcement and fire personnel responded to the home and extinguished the fire. Afterward, crews found a male body inside the house.
