A Beech Island man has been accused of criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

Aiken County Sheriff’s investigators arrested Dayzon Nakarr Padgett, 23, on July 23.

A minor alleged Padgett sexually assaulted her in early fall 2023, according to an incident report from the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.

It is also alleged that Padgett requested and received sexually explicit text messages from a minor between May 8 and 15, 2023, according to an incident report from the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.

Padgett told the alleged victim that he was 14 years old, the report said.

Padgett and the alleged victim met around May 10, 2023 and he allegedly sexually assaulted her, according to the report.

Padgett has been charged with three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

He also faces one count of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, punishable between three and 20 years in prison, and one count of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

An Aiken County magistrate denied bond.
