    LAKESIDE 28, SOUTH AIKEN 19

    South Aiken suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Lakeside on Friday night.

    The T-Breds (1-1) begin Region 4-AAAA play next Friday at North Augusta.

    BLYTHEWOOD 34, MIDLAND VALLEY 7

    Blythewood took the lead for good in the second quarter, taking a 20-7 lead on the way to a 34-7 victory.

    Next up for the Mustangs (0-2) is a home game Friday against Lexington.

    DIXIE 34, FOX CREEK 24

    Dixie scored the final 13 points to beat Fox Creek in the Predators' season opener.

    Fox Creek (0-1) is on the road against next Friday against Glenn Hills.

    BLACKVILLE-HILDA 41, EDISTO 6

    Blackville-Hilda bounced back from its season-opening loss to Barnwell by blowing out Edisto on Friday.

    The Fighting Hawks (1-1) will be on the road next Friday at Ninety Six.

    SALUDA 42, RIDGE SPRING-MONETTA 0

    Ridge Spring-Monetta was shut out Friday by Saluda.

    The Trojans (0-2) have a bye next week and will be back in action Sept. 13 at home against American Leadership Academy.

    BATESBURG-LEESVILLE 50, WAGENER-SALLEY 0

    Wagener-Salley was shut out at home Friday by Batesburg-Leesville.

    The War Eagles (1-1) will be on the road next Friday against Swansea, which is led by former War Eagles head coach Willie Fox.
