LMS & LVHS Students in Activities to be Drug Tested this fall
Lander middle and high school students involved in activities will be subject to drug tests, with the first rounds expected to begin as soon as August 20. The district has partnered with Sports Safe Testing Service of Ohio, which also works to provide drug testing for Goshen County, on the program, which aims to curb substance abuse among students.
Legends earn trip to the State Tournament in Lovell
(Lander, WY) – Lander Legion C swept Jackson and Evanston in conference play this past week to earn a trip to the State Tournament. Lander Legends completed conference play with a strong showing against the Evanston Renegades. William Oland threw just 55 pitches in 5 innings and kept the Evanston players on their heels. Lander came out swinging and scored 17 runs to dominate and invoke the 10-run rule after 5 innings. Gage Toups had a base clearing triple to seal the win for the Lander Legends.
