If you love the convenience of knocking out your shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, and sipping on your favorite coffee all in one spot, you’re in for a treat. A brand-new shopping center is coming to town, and it’s bringing some exciting businesses along with it—including a mystery grocer. Let’s dive into what’s coming to The Shops at Race Track!

Location and What You Can Expect

So, what’s the deal with this new shopping center? Located at 4560 Race Track Road, The Shops at Race Track will be home to two multi-tenant retail buildings. One of these buildings is already in the works, with leasing reportedly underway. This spot is super convenient, too—just under three miles from I-95, with around 30,509 vehicles passing through the intersection of Race Track Road and Bartram Park Boulevard North each day.

Now, onto the good stuff: the businesses! So far, tenants that have been confirmed include some familiar names like KFC and McDonald’s. But there are a couple of new faces that you might not know as well, like Dutch Bros. Coffeeand Another Broken Egg. And, there’s a yet-to-be-named grocer that’s set to join the lineup, so stay tuned for that reveal.

    What’s New on the Menu?

Let’s start with Dutch Bros. Coffee. If you haven’t heard of them yet, they’re fairly new to Florida but already making waves. Originally from the West Coast, Dutch Bros. has become known for serving up more than just coffee—they’ve got smoothies, mochas, shakes, and other tasty drinks to keep you refreshed. It’s a fun and laid-back spot to grab a drink, and with a drive-thru, it’s perfect for those on the go.

Then there’s Another Broken Egg, which is a little more unique. It’s a daytime cafe that’s all about brunch. Think eggs benedict, omelets, and pancakes—all the comfort foods you love, served up in a cozy cafe atmosphere. Currently, there are only about 8 locations in Florida, mostly in the central part of the state, so having one here in Jacksonville is pretty exciting for brunch lovers.

Of course, we all know KFC and McDonald’s—no introductions needed there. Whether you’re craving fried chicken or a Big Mac, you’ll have plenty of fast-food options when you visit.

    The Mystery Grocer

Now, the big question: who’s the mystery grocer? While we don’t know just yet which grocery store will be setting up shop at The Shops at Race Track, it’s sure to be a welcome addition. Having a grocer right in the mix of this shopping center is going to make it a one-stop shop for all your daily needs—whether it’s grabbing dinner or picking up groceries.

With its combination of restaurants, coffee spots, and an upcoming grocery store, The Shops at Race Track is shaping up to be a must-visit destination for Jacksonville shoppers. Whether you’re looking to fuel up on brunch at Another Broken Egg or grab a coffee to go from Dutch Bros., there’s something for everyone.

What do you think? Are you excited about this new shopping center? What are you hoping the mystery grocer will be? Let’s keep the conversation going!
