Sunflowers on Highway 3 are a destination for photographers
AKRON — Just east of Akron on the corner of Highway 3 and Diamond Avenue is a bright grouping of tall sunflowers leaning towards the sun. For the third year in a row, Ben Philips’ 12-acre field of sunshine, called The Sunflower Patch, is bringing in groups of people from all over Plymouth County to take pictures with the sunflowers.
