Le Mars baseball rallies from 6-0 deficit but falls to Heelan in extras
SIOUX CITY — The Le Mars Community baseball team rallied from a 6-0 deficit after two innings against Class 3A No. 4 ranked Bishop Heelan on Monday in a substate semifinal round game played at Lewis & Clark Park. The Bulldogs forced extra innings with the game tied 8-8, but lost in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Crusaders moved on to the substate final with a 9-8 victory.
