For 11-year-old Brecksville resident Brady Lewandowski, checkered flags and finishing ahead of the pack has become a way of life. Lewandowski, who began go-kart racing at age 5, won his first championship in the 8-12 age group at Thompson Kart Raceway in 2021. DeLauter (toe) began a rehab assignment with the Guardians' Arizona Complex League affiliate on Saturday. DeLauter has played just one game since April due to a broken left foot and then a sprained toe on his right foot. He's dealt with multiple foot injuries, primarily to the left one, during his minor-league career.
