Chrissie Hynde went back to Ohio. Not all of her city is gone.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer took time out to reminisce this week as The Pretenders returned to Akron for two sold out concerts Tuesday and Wednesday at Goodyear Theater .

Wearing a black sleeveless T-shirt and black slacks, she took a photo of herself outside a little house on Eighth Street in Cuyahoga Falls.

“We are now in Ohio!” she posted on Facebook, Instagram and X. “Here’s me posing outside my childhood home in Cuyahoga Falls.”

Fans took to social media to comment on the portrait.

“Who says you can’t go home?” Joey Fiato wrote.

“Imagine seeing a legend standing in your driveway,” Scott Manganello posted.

“Love this photo of you, absolutely the nostalgia,” Adrienne Randall wrote.

“Is it really pronounced ‘Cahoga Falls’ like in your song,” Gene Hill wondered.

“Welcome home Chrissie,” Tim Adams wrote.

Expect more Hynde sightings around town this week — especially at Goodyear Theater.
